If you look up 'SEO pricing,' you'll find everything from $99/month automated tools to $10,000/month agencies. It's impossible to tell what's reasonable and what's a ripoff. I want to be transparent about this because the confusion benefits no one.

Let me be direct: I charge for clarity and results, not hours. Here's exactly what I offer and what it costs.

The Visibility Diagnostic — $0: I start every relationship with a free 30-minute call. I review your GBP, your website, your citations, and your competitors live on the call. You leave with a clear picture of where your business stands and what specific gaps exist. I do this for free because it's the only honest way to figure out whether I can actually help you. If your business has different problems than what I solve, I'll tell you on that call.

The Full Visibility Audit — $500: If you want a comprehensive written report with documented screenshots, competitor benchmarks, and a prioritized action plan, this is the one-time deliverable. You get a PDF you can implement yourself or use to hire someone else. I don't upsell you on the call. I give you the analysis and let you decide.

Monthly Visibility Management — $1,200/month: This is for business owners who want me to actually do the work — GBP optimization, citation building, review management, content updates, and monthly reporting. I take on 8-10 clients at a time so every client gets my direct attention, not an account manager. The minimum commitment is 3 months because local SEO compounds month over month.

What determines whether you need the audit or the monthly retainer? Two things: how competitive your market is, and how much time you have to implement changes yourself. If you're a dentist in Sheikh Zayed with 10 competitors fighting for the same keywords, you probably need the retainer. If you're a plumber in a smaller city with low competition, the audit plus DIY implementation might be enough.

Red flags I want you to watch for — from anyone, including me: consultants who guarantee 'page 1 rankings,' anyone who uses fake reviews or link schemes, and people who won't show you real case studies. Local SEO is a structured process, not magic. Anyone who promises quick results is selling something that will get your profile suspended.

The bottom line: a legitimate local SEO engagement starts at $500 for a diagnostic and $1,200/month for ongoing work. If the price is significantly lower than that, someone is cutting corners you can't see. If it's significantly higher for a single location, you're paying for overhead you don't need.
